Color Rescue — Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 7, 2026 · Developer: Oxvelle
Color Rescue is a puzzle game. We keep things simple: you don't need an account, we never ask for your name or email, and the game's own code does not collect personal data, track you or send analytics. We have no server that receives your data. The only data that leaves your device for another company is what Google AdMob uses to show ads, described below.
Your game data
Your progress (levels, stars, best moves), settings, lumens, hints, vials and a record of delivered purchases are saved on your device.
If you are signed in to iCloud, a copy of this save is kept in your own iCloud account (Apple's iCloud key-value storage) so it follows you to your other devices and survives reinstalling. Only your Apple Account can read it; we cannot.
Notifications
Notifications are off until you turn them on (in the game or in Settings). They are reminders created on your device, such as "your daily gift is ready" or a note when you have been away for a few days. No server is involved, no data is sent, and you can turn them off at any time in the game's Settings or in iPhone Settings › Notifications.
Game Center
If you are signed in to Game Center, the game sends your scores and achievements to Apple so they appear on leaderboards and in your profile. Your Game Center nickname is shown to other players by Apple. This is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment details or your Apple Account information. The game checks Apple's signed record of the purchase on your device to unlock what you bought.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The free version shows ads provided by Google AdMob. To show ads, limit how often you see them, measure them and prevent fraud, Google may collect your device's advertising identifier (only if you allow tracking), your IP address (from which an approximate location is derived), information about your device (such as model, operating system and language), how you interact with ads, and diagnostic data.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the game asks for your consent with Google's consent tool before personalized ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings › Privacy & ad choices in the game. On iOS, Apple asks whether Color Rescue may track you; if you choose "Ask App Not to Track", your advertising identifier is not used. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. How Google uses data from partner apps: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Players who bought "Remove Ads" or the Keeper's Bundle do not see ads between levels. Optional rewarded videos (watched only if you choose, for example for a free hint) may still be offered.
Children
Color Rescue is rated 4+ and made for a general audience; it is not directed at children under 13 in particular. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Parents can turn off tracking in iPhone Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking, use Screen Time and "Ask to Buy" for purchases, and choose non-personalized ads in the game's privacy settings where available.
How long data is kept
Your game data stays on your device and in your iCloud until you erase it. Settings › Erase all game data deletes it everywhere at once. Data used for advertising is kept by Google according to its own policies.
Your rights and choices
- Erase everything: Settings › Erase all game data deletes your save on this device and in iCloud, on all your devices, and resets your Game Center achievements. Deleting the app alone removes only the copy on your device. Purchases are kept by Apple and come back with Restore purchases.
- Clear only levels and stars: Settings › Reset progress.
- Notifications: Settings › Notifications in the game, or iPhone Settings › Notifications.
- Ad consent: Settings › Privacy & ad choices in the game (shown where required by law).
- Tracking: iPhone Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
- Advertising data held by Google: use Google's privacy tools at policies.google.com/privacy.
- Any other question or request about your data: write to us at [email protected]. We answer within 30 days.
Where data is processed
Google may process advertising data in countries other than yours, under the safeguards described in its privacy policy. Data stored by Apple (iCloud, Game Center, purchases) is handled under Apple's privacy policy.
No sale of data
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for any purpose of our own.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the new version is posted on this page with a new effective date. Oxvelle, [email protected].
